By accident the other art teacher I operate with left a handful of plastic boxes filled with crayola chalk pastels close to the window and the heater… I am going to assume she left and there are two or 3 days. When she went back to them, she realized that they have been no longer smearing like typical!
They are not dusty, but rather they colour equivalent to building paper crayons. They kept their vibrant tones… but once again, they never smear!!!! It truly is the most exciting medium.
Has everyone else accidentally, or on goal, accomplished this? She was considering about throwing them away, but I am attempting to convince her that we could save them and use them.
I googled about and did not discover everyone who purposefully heated/baked chalk pastels.
