Armed with an arsenal of pain, passion and a pen, Joshua “Scribe” Watkis is a vivid storyteller through the art of Hip-Hop and Spoken Word. His sharp lyricism and bold presence give his audience a clear picture of the world through his eyes when he takes the stage. This young artist is one-third of the Spoken Word collective called – “The Uncharted”, a budding arts education and youth mentoring group that is best known for opening for the legendary Hip-Hop group ‘The Roots’ in Toronto. Whether teaching in classrooms or performing for sold out crowd, this poet brings the same electric vibe to every space he enters. His aim is always to leave the room with more energy than when he stepped in.
