I use mine for sorting activities in entire group instruction. Generate a diagram in Wise Notebook, drop in some images and have an interactive class discussion. Categories I’ve employed ” warm vs cool colors” , “abstract vs realistic art”, “pop art vs not pop art”, any two components or principles of design and style.
I also use mine for a rapid activity when the students come into the space a la Responsive Classroom’s morning message. I have a Yes or No style query that students can vote on when they enter the space to verify in just before class begins. “Do you like this painting?” “Is graffiti art poor?” “Do you want a further perform day to finish your project?”
Children Appreciate drawing on the SmartBoard so make certain you have clear guidelines and expectations about making use of it and not abusing it 🙂
