Cristal Buemi

Cristal Buemi is a Puerto Rican Canadian multimedia artist (animation and design), who has been bringing objects to life for over 10 years. 

With a focus on using natural and sustainable materials, she explores the everyday beauty found in her surroundings while creating wacky, wonderful and handmade art one frame at a time.  

Cristal’s passion for art education has enabled her involvement with various organizations and schools such as TIFF, North York Arts, and OCAD University.  Through the magic of stop motion animation she has had the opportunity to work with diverse

 students to help advance their creative expression and skills.
