This program is designed to get students thinking critically about the complexity of Black identity, offering an opportunity for creative exploration and self-expression. Through guided dialogue and hands-on activities like arts workshops with a literacy component, they will explore three integral parts that define their individual lives — Personal Identity, Social Identity and Ethnicity — eventually creating unique pieces art in poem or statement form plus visuals or digital works as output from this journey!
