In this workshop, students will witness the magical marriage between Hip Hop and R&B, as they explore classic hits from iconic artists such as Lauryn Hill, Mary J Blige, Ashanti, Jully Black, and more. Modern R&B singers like SZA, Ella Mai, Ari Lennox, and others will also be used to demonstrate the principles of Hip Hop in their music. Through group and collective singing, students will deepen their understanding of how these two genres intersect and learn how to incorporate them into their own creative expressions.
