Mr. Hayes. Wow. This was a lost we were not expecting. He was one of the most caring adults with a passion for student success that was louder then his soft voice. When he walked the halls he always greeted us with love and respect. He knew how to be tough but he knew when ease off a bit and lend his ear and share his wisdom. He was a friend.
Art was his voice. He had a way to sing with a paintbrush and compose some of the most beautiful pieces of artwork stroke by stroke. Constantly looking for ways to inspire the young minds of students looking for a way to connect with the school.
We are going to miss him! Every time we go to paint the skies, we’ll add an extra star for our fallen loved one Mr. Hayes. He will never be forgotten.
