Scribe has been a member of our faculty since 2016. From summer camps, showcases, in-class workshops for students middle school through to college & university. Josh is a skilled hip hop poet.
Spoken Word SHSM with Scribe
Spoken word program that is open for all students from grade 6-12 and supports beginner, intermediate and advanced level writers. This program is designed for aspiring novelists, poets or essayists, in both the fiction or non-fiction genres. Scribe focuses on narrative styles, plots and characters using fundamental poetry and writing elements, such as: similes, metaphors, stanza, form, rhythm, rhyme and much more. Through this program students are able to develop and find their own voice and style.
