Dance Revolt 2016 featuring Master Choreographer Luther Brown. This is a full day workshop for students in grade 8 through grade 12 and will feature 3 genres, career development workshops, a JBG Master Class with Luther Brown and much more.

A full day dance workshop open to students in grades 8-12 of intermediate skill level and up. Each workshop will cover different genres from Hip-Hop, Reggae, House, Contemporary, African, Afro-Jazz, Salsa, Break Dance, Krump and much more. Students also learn about post secondary dance programs offered by York University, career development, the business of being in the arts industry and much more. This is an opportunity for students to learn a variety of dance genres from professional choreographers, explore the world of dance as a student of York University, to connect with other dancers in their community and to share their creativity and talents. This workshop is a high energy, fun learning environment for all, even the teachers.
