This workshop offers an exciting opportunity to learn about the history and unique style of Canada’s first black-owned hip hop dance agency. Taught by original members of Do Dat, students will be able to immerse themselves in this iconic dance style that combines step dance, reggae and hip hop. Despite facing challenges and racism, Do Dat pioneered Toronto’s distinctive hip hop dance style that is now recognized globally. This workshop is a chance to learn about the history and impact of Do Dat Entertainment, and to experience the choreography and showmanship that is essential to modern hip hop dance.
