School Of Groove is a dance training and mentorship program dedicated to nurturing strong and confident female dancers. We act as a bridge – connecting dancers to like-minded peers, mentors and the larger dance community. Our mission lies in giving emerging talent a holistic approach to the learning experience and the tools they need in order to refine their practice and find success on their personal dance journey.
Bizzy a.k.a Brandon is no stranger to Just BGRAPHIC! He has blessed us with his choreography for years and is set to turn things up this year as well! Brandon has trained in styles such as Dancehall, Hip Hop, African and Capoeira. Brandon has also won many solo dance competitions within his dance career. When he is not training or performing, he teaches dance in studios, conventions, community centres, schools and other major places.
Originally from Zimbabwe Africa, Raoul began his professional dance career training upon arrival to Canada. His love for learning opened many doors to professional dance companies such as The Moon Runners, Gadfly Dance and Holla Jazz, thus creating a name in the community through mentorship, theatre and outreach programs. He is currently trained in Vernacular Jazz, House Dance and Hip Hop and aims to share his love of movement by creating safe spaces, where dance is explored and movement is our voice.
