Dance REVOLT is a full day dance conference open to all students in grades 8-12 of intermediate skill level and up. Workshops will cover 3 dance genres; Reggae with @BizzyBoom, Hip-Hop with @FlowXS and Afro-House with @RaoulWilks.

Students will learn about post secondary arts programs offered by York University, career development, the business of being in the Arts Industry and much more. This is an amazing opportunity for students to learn a variety of dance genres from professional choreographers, explore the world of dance as a student of York University and to connect with other dancers in their community to share their creativity and talents. This conference is a high energy, fun-learning environment for all.

All students, teachers and guidance counsellors will get a guided tour of the School of the Arts, Media, Performance & Design (AMPD) by current York students. Teachers and guidance counsellors will also get an information session with professors to ask more in-depth questions, they will also leave with information kits and a direct contact at York to get up to date information of new programs and learning opportunities for students.
